英文摘要 | To obtain a precise workpiece with good surface quality, some repetitive finish-cuts along rough-cutting contoul are necessary in WEDM. Based on Taguch quality design method and numerical analysis, it is found that pulse-on time, and the sistance between wire periphery and workpiece surface are two significant factors on machining performance (gap width, surface roughness and white layer depth). A strategy of optimal multi-cut WEDM process planning from rough to finish cutting operations, including the machining operations number and their corresponding machining parameters for each operation was proposed. Experimental results show that a good surface quality and accurate dimension can be obtained in less machining time. |
