中文摘要 | 本試驗之目的在於評估光照與褪黑素對誘發季節性乏情乳用母山羊發情受胎之效 果,以協助羊農提昇羊群繁殖效率及調節羊乳市場之供需。由台中以南至台東地區 13 個乳 羊場選出之季節性乏情乳用母山羊合計 1383 頭,於 1 ∼ 2 月間逢機接受下列方法之一處 理, L 組: 每日光照處理 20 小時,持續 2 個月,再回復自然光照,並於母羊群中放入公 羊。 L+M 組: 處理方法同 A 組, 惟在放入公羊之同時,在母羊耳根皮下埋植一劑含 18mg 褪黑素 (melatonin)。M 組: 母羊群未接受光照,僅皮下埋檀 18mg 褪黑素,並於母羊群中 放入公羊。對照組: 僅於母羊群中放入公羊。試驗結果顯示.母羊單獨採用光照處理 (L 組 ),即可有 60.7% 受到誘發發情配種之後懷孕成功產仔,各處理組之誘發母羊發情產仔效果 均極顯著較對照組之 13.9% 為佳 (P<0.01), 且各組分別有 75.4%(L 組 ),71.7%(L+M 組 ) 與 100%(M 組 ) 受誘發發情配種成功之母羊係集中在人工虛理之後 2 個月內發生。然而 ,光照與褪黑素合併處理 (L+M 組 ),較單獨使用者 (L 組或 M 組 ) 並未具有顯著提高乏 情母羊群之受胎率與窩仔數之相乘效果 (P<0.05), 且同一人工處理方法對誘發母羊發情受 胎之效果,在不同乳羊場之間有極顯著之差異 (P<0.01)。 懷孕母羊之平均窩仔數在各處理 組間 (L 組、L+M 組與 M 組 ) 差異不頗著,惟同一處理所獲得之窩仔數在不同乳羊場之間 卻有顯著差異 (P<0.05)。 各種處理方法所需之成本分別為 32.8 元 (L)、117.8 元 (L+M) 及 85 元 (M)。由本試驗結果顯示,單獨採用光照處理,不僅獲得較高之受胎率,且每頭母 羊虛理所需之費用亦最經濟,值得推 廣應用。 . |
英文摘要 | This experiment was conducted to examine the effects of photoperiod and melatonin on the conception rate and prolificacy of seasonal anestrous does under the tropical and subtropical environment of Taiwan. Thus an effective and economical technique would be used for overcoming seasonal anestrus of dairy goats and balancing the production and the demand of goat milk market. Dairy does selected from 13 dairy farms in the area covering Tai-Chung down south to Tai-Tung (23-24 ° N) were randomly allocated into one of four groups according to breed, parity, lactation and body condition. The treatment for each group of does was as follows: Light control (L): a long photoperiod of 20 hours/day beginning in January and continuing for 60 days, then turning off the supplementary light and introducing buck into the herd. Light control plus melatonin (L+M): the same as group L except receiving an implant of 18 mg of melatonin at the end of supplementary light. Melatonin (M): receiving an implant of 18 mg of melatonin only at the end of supplementary light and introducing buck into the herd 35 days after melatonin implanting, and Control (C): introducing buck into the herd only. Conception rates were elevated significantly in groups L (60.7%), L+M (55.7%) and M (45.1%) when compared to that in control group (13.9%) (p<0.01). No additional effect on conception rate was observed in the group of light control plus melatonin (p<0.05). The prolificacy of does were not significantly different among groups. However, both the conception rate and the prolificacy of does were different significantly by individual farm (p<0.01) and the number of kids in each parturition was positively correlated with the conception rate. 75.4% (L), 71.7% (L+M) and 100% (M) of pregnant does conceived within 60 days after treatments. The expense of treatments on individual doe basis was only 32.8 NT$ in the group of light control. These results indicated that the use of photoperiod manipulation could effectively and economically induce fertile estrus of dairy does out of breeding season in Taiwan. |
