| 英文摘要 | A key to reducing fatigue in the workplace is to develop objective measures for quantifying fatigue. Previously, researchers have measured the level of muscular fatigue by using the short-time Fouries transform (STFT) to describe the temporal changes in frequency content of the electromyogram (EMG). The main objective of this research is to validate the use of the time-frequency distribution and the wavelet transform for the quantification of back muscle fatigue during isometric working conditions. Hence, this study will: 1)illustrate the time-frequency and wavelet methods for processing EMG in order to discover the changes in frequency content that occur during fatigue in contrast with the traditional short-time Fourier transform measures, and 2)apply a Daubechies wavelet transform and short time Fourier transform to EMG obtained from trunk extensor muscles in order to quantify fatigue during an isometric turnk endurance test at an exertion level of 70% of the subjects' maximal voluntary contraction. The next step in the validation of these methods requires systematic investigation of their properties during controlled dynamic exertions. |
