中文摘要 | 電腦輔助教學隨著網際網路的快速發展而有了快速而且重大的轉變。許多非英語系的國家,例如臺灣,一直努力著如何將電腦輔助教學整合英語文的教學與學習,範圍從小學、國中、高中,甚至是高等教育。這篇論文主旨為筆者以自身的經驗做深入的研究並探討臺灣目前高中英文科整合電腦輔助教學的現況。 本研究以問卷訪問了臺灣北中南三區現任公立高中英文教師共56位,當中5位並參與後續的訪談研究,兼含量與質的分析。論文主要的發現為:(一)高中英語教師大都有足夠的基礎資訊及電腦輔助教學整合能力。(二)一般而言,大多數的教師對於電腦輔助教學整合在英語教學都有正向的態度。(三)持有正向態度的教師越常經常使用電腦輔助教學。(四)整合電腦輔助教學最大的困難在於行政支援、教室時間的管理、課前的準備時間以及技術支援的不足。本篇論文僅為初探,樣本數不足以代表全體臺灣高中英文教師,但是研究結果可作為未來政府或高中在推動資訊融入教學時擬定政策時的一項重要參考依據。 |
英文摘要 | Computer-assisted language learning (CALL) has changed with the rapid development of Computer hardware and software and the development of the Internet Many non-English speaking countries, including Taiwan, have been working hard on how to integrate CALL into English language teaching and learning from primary to secondary or even higher education. This research investigates the current situation of integrating CALL in senior high schools in Taiwan. The interests of the present research are: (1) how much knowledge do Taiwan senior high school EFL teachers have in IT and CALL fields; (2) what are senior high EFL teachers' experience of using CALL in Taiwan; (3) what are their attitudes toward integrating CALL into their teaching; (4) what is the relationship between their experience and attitudes. The data collected using questionnaire designed by the author. A follow-up semi-structured interview was employed to obtain the further opinions from the interesting results in the questionnaire. Due to the difficulty of getting samples from private senior high schools, the sample population was limited to four public senior high schools in Taiwan. There were 56 EFL teachers attended the questionnaire survey, five teachers took part in the follow-up interviews. The analysis of collected data comprised both qualitative and quantitative methods. The main findings in this research are: (1) senior high EFL teachers have enough basic IT and CALL knowledge to integrate basic CALL activities; (2) generally speaking, teachers have quite positive attitudes toward CALL integration; (3) Teachers who hold positive attitudes usually have strong relationship to their own experience of using CALL; (4) The difficulties of integrating CALL are mainly related to administration support, time management in class, preparation time, and technical support. |
