中文摘要 | 本試驗之目的在探討褐色菜鴨在生長期間實施光照計畫對其性成熟與產蛋性能之 影響。隨機將十月、一月、四月及七月孵出之雛鴨各分成對照組及光照組。所有雛鴨在孵 化後第一週接受24小時光照,自第二週起,對照組鴨隻接受自然光照,而光照組鴨隻則進 行光照遞減計畫,直到第18 週齡開始時為止,此時同月份孵出之光照組與對照組鴨隻接受 約略相同之光照長度,第18週齡起至23週齡止,所有鴨隻光照長度皆漸增至16小時光照8小 時黑暗 (16L/8D),且維持此一光照週期至 500 日齡,光照強度為 20~40Lux。 試驗期間測 定項目包括體重、初產日齡、360 及 500 日齡產蛋、蛋重、蛋殼強度及蛋殼厚度。 在自然 光照下, 十月孵出之鴨隻初產日齡為 134 日, 遠較一、四、 與七月孵出者 (約 120 日 ) 為遲;當比較光照組與對照組之初產日齡時,除十月份之光照組與對照組間有顯著差別外, 其餘各月份,兩者間均無顯著差異。十月份孵出之對照組鴨隻,性成熟雖較其它各月份孵出 者延遲,但 500 日齡產蛋數卻高於其它各月份孵出之對照組鴨隻。 在產蛋數方面,一月份 孵出之雛鴨, 其 500 日齡產蛋數可經由上述之光照處理加以改進,而此產蛋增加伴隨著產 蛋後期蛋重減輕及蛋殼品質下降。本試驗結果顯示,褐色菜鴨雖非季節性生殖者,然其產蛋性 能,仍深受季節因素影響,在成長階段,光照對其性成熟之影響,可能係經由每日光照時間 之長度所控制。實施人工光照以改進產蛋數,以對一月份孵出之雛鴨較為有效。 |
英文摘要 | The objectives of this study were to investigate the effects of lighting regimens on maturity and laying performance in Brown Tsaiya ducks. Brown Tsaiya ducklings, hatched in October (Oct), January (Jan), April (Apr), and July (Jul), were randomly divided into control and light groups, respectively. All ducklings were given 24 hours of artificial lights in the first week. After one week of age, ducklings in the control groups were exposed to natural light. However, in the light groups, the photoperiod was gradually decreased until ducks reached 18 weeks of age. At this age, ducks in both control and light groups were exposed to the same photoperiod. The photoperiod was then increased to 16 L/8 D gradually for all ducks between 18 and 23 weeks of age. This photoperiod 16 L/8 D continued until ducks reached 500 days of age. Light exposure for each duck was 20~40 Lux. Among the control groups, maturity of Oct-hatched ducklings was delayed compared with ducklings hatched in other months. Maturity of Oct-hatched dcuklings was advanced by artificial light. This advancement was not observed in the Jan-, Apr-,and Jul-hatched ducklings. Under natural light, number of eggs at 500 days of age in the Oct-hatched group was higher than the number of eggs laid by ducks hatched in Jan, Apr, and Jul. Number of eggs at 500 days of age increased by artificial light only in Jan-hatched ducks, but not in ducks hatched in Apr, Jul and Oct. This increase was associated with decreased egg weight, egg shell strength, and egg shell thickness. This study demonstrated the usefulness of lighting treatment to improve egg production in Brown Tsaiya ducks. |
