中文摘要 | 本研究調查台灣海桐、榕樹、夾竹桃等三樹種,在桃園觀音工業區迎風面與背風面幼年期的生長狀況。由於東北季風的影響,迎風區各樹種的地際直徑及樹高皆比背風區差,且單株累積的生物量也以迎風區較差。即使在背風區,單株累積的生物量或葉面積,也低於受季風影響木麻黃的單株者。故東北季風對沿海栽植的林木確實形成危害。 |
英文摘要 | The early growth of 3 tree species, Pittosporum pentandrum, Ficus microcarpa, and Nerium indicum, planted at windward and leeward sites of the Kuanyin Industrial Park in Taoyuan County was investigated. Both diameter at ground and tree height of all 3 species at the leeward site were greater than corresponding values at the windward site. Biomass accumulation per tree at the leeward site was also larger than that at the windward site, because of injury by the northeastern monsoon. Even the biomass accumulation and leaf area per tree at the leeward site were less than those values for casuarina at the site affected by the northeastern monsoon. This clearly indicates that the northeastern monsoon damages planted trees in this coastal area. |
