中文摘要 | 長久以來,英語教學者不斷地嘗試以有趣、有效果的方式引發學生學習英語的動 機,然而,有些方式並無法達到預期的目標。本文建議採用遊戲的方式,創造一個生動活潑 的英語學習環境,以提升學習者學習的品質。遊戲不但能引起狀況待加強學生的學習興趣, 亦能鼓勵程度好的學生更上一層樓。一般而言,台灣採大班制教學,學習的環境相當刻板且 單調,五十分鐘的上課時間能夠愉快安然的度過實非易事。如果以遊戲的方式輔助教學,不 但可以增進師生之間互動的關係,亦可以增強學生對單字的記憶力,鼓勵學生開口說英語, 進而達到語言學習的最終目標。傳統的語言學習困境,諸如有限的教學設備,僵化的教材內 容,保守的學習態度等,可獲得實質的改善。遊戲所使用的材料取材自回收紙張,因此藉由 遊戲的過程亦可宣導環保概念。以遊戲輔助英語教學,可以使教學方式從傳統的指導者主導 地位轉變為以學生為主體的情況。三項實用的英語輔助教學遊戲,被詳細的介紹以提供英語 教學參考。 |
英文摘要 | Different opinions have been discussed for years on how to provide an effective and interesting way to stimulate the students' motivation in learning English. However, many students still do not reach to their expected goal due to lacking of language learning intention in class. Games are proposed for promoting the quality of learning. Games can not only attract the less-motivated students to reveal their confidence on English learning, but the good-performed students can make more progress with it. Normally, there are about fifty or more students in a classroom in Taiwan. It is hard for a teacher to remain the whole class in a smooth and pleasant atmosphere for fifty minutes. To put the appropriate games into the English teaching is worth to recommend. Games can generate an authentic interactive relationship between the instructor and the learners. Furthermore, it enforces the learners' memorization in words, encourages the participants to practice orally, and achieves the purpose of language learning. The weaknesses of traditional teaching condition such as limited facilities, restricted contents of textbook, and conservative learning attitude can be improved by means of operating with dynamic activities. All the materials used in the games are adopted from recycled substances. Thus, the language learning is also connected to the concept of environmental conservation. Implementing games to a classroom, most students become less tensed and are willing to cooperate with one another. The teacher-dominated impression is spontaneously shifted to the student-centered situation. |
