中文摘要 | 雖然臺灣資訊產業近來在提升國際競爭力上已獲得相當不錯的成果,但其同時面 臨著如何有效創造出高產品價值的困境。無疑地,設計在提升企業競爭力與產品價值上已扮 演一關鍵的角色。本研究以多重個案研究法,探索臺灣資訊業廠商之設計策略的形成及設計 績效的評估。所選取個案研究的廠商有大同,致福,藍天,及昆盈等四家,本研究初期的主 要發現有:1) 不同的設計定位須要不同的設計資源投入;2) 設計策略的型態是期許型且非 正式化; 3) 受訪廠商認為成功上市,設計進度達成,設計預算達成,設計水準達成,設計 專利,及整體設計表現滿意等都是實際可行的設計績效指標。這些研究成果提供了未來在探 討設計策略與設計績效之相關性研究的基礎。 |
英文摘要 | Although Taiwan's information industry has recently enjoyed the outstanding success on rising international competitiveness, it has also faced the difficulty on how to effectively create high product values. Undoubtedly, design does play a key role on enhancing business competition and product values. This study employed the multiple-case study method to explore the ways Taiwan's information firms apply to formulate their design strategies and evaluate their design performance. The firms selected for interview are Tatung, GVC, Clevo, and Key. The primary findings of the study are: 1) different design positioning result in different input levels of design resources; 2) the type of design strategy is expected and informal; 3) success into market, achievements of design goals in terms of time, budget, and quality, design patents, and satisfactions of overall design performance are highly suggested by the firms to be the indices of design performance in practice. The discussions of these cases provide a rich basis for further investigation on the relationship between design strategy and design performance. |
