英文摘要 | The proportional solenoid is currently widely used in hydraulic and pneumatic component design because of its significant features such as low cost, large force output and acceptable linearity. For example, the proportional valve is a well-known application of the proportional solenoid. In this paper, a new design of an open-loop controlled test device is presented which can be used to evaluate both the static and the dynamic characteristics of the proportional solenoid. Moreover, a nonlinear model for the proportional solenoid is also developed. The solenoid is modeled as a combination of a resistor in series with an inductor with nonlinearly variable inductance. To model the magnetic characteristics of the solenoid, curve fitting techniques are utilized. The comparisons of experimental and simulation results show that the proposed nonlinear model can well simulate the static as well as the dynamic behaviors of the proportional solenoid. |
