中文摘要 | 本研究旨在探討兒童讀物的教育價值及其對兒童學業成就的影響。全文從教育機 會均等與提昇學生學業成就的理論基礎與文獻分析,強調學校應著重兒童讀物的運用、落實 閱讀課、以及豐富圖書館館藏來彌補家庭社經地位以及文化環境所帶來的差異。讓每位兒童 均有機會及時間,選擇最適合自己的讀物來閱讀,增廣其閱讀興趣,提昇閱讀能力及學業成 就,進而養成閱讀習慣,奠定終身學習的基礎。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to investigate the educational values of children's books and its effects on children's academic achievement. From the theoretical basis and literature reviews on equality of educational opportunity and enhancement of academic achievement, the school should emphasize the accessibility of children's books, the importance of reading instruction, and the rich collection of books in the library to compensate the disadvantages of children from low socioeconomic status and culturally deprived families. Children should be given ample time and opportunity to engage themselves in reading books suiting their own level and interest. With the enhancement of reading interest and the cultivation of reading habits, children's academic achievement can be improved and thus acquire the reading habits which will be beneficial during their entire lifetime. |
