中文摘要 | 本研究之目的在探討烏心石在不同光度下之生理可塑性。將烏心石容器苗放在溫 室內,於人為庇蔭使光度為全光度之12%、27%、48%及81%下生長,試驗期間每月測定苗 木之光合作用特性,氣孔導度及蒸散速率。由於生長於不同的光度,苗木光合系統呈現不同 的發育,致81%光度處理苗木在先飽和點之淨光合速率最強,在12%光度下生長者最弱。 每個月的淨光合速率,除了12%光度處理者外,尚受累積光量之影響;至於累積溫量之效 應則在所有處理皆呈現。在晴天,淨光合速率之日變化在早上10時左右出現最大值,約4 時之後出現負值。淨光合速率的日變化及季節變化之幅度以81%下生長者最大。氣孔導度 及蒸散速率顯示,81%光度處理苗木在高的氣孔導度下蒸散速率較弱光度下生長者為慢,反 之則較快。上述生理特性顯示烏心石苗木具有優越的光度可塑性,在強光下生長迅速,較類 似非耐陰種之特性。 |
英文摘要 | The objective of the study was to investigate the physiological plasticity of Formosan michelia (Michelia compressa) grown under different light intensities. Modulated by artificial shading, plastic-container seedlings of Formosan michelia were grown under 12%, 27%, 48%, and 81% of full sunlight in greenhouse. Photosynthetic attributes, stomatal conductance, and transpiration rate under different light treatments were measured monthly. Different photosynthetic systems developed under various light environments. Net photosynthetic rate (Pn) at light saturation point of 81% light treated seedlings was the highest and that of 12% light treated seedlings was the lowest. Except for the 12% light treatment, the monthly changes of Pn were closely related to the monthly accumulated light and thermal energy for all light treatments. On sunny days, diurnal Pn of all seedlings peaked around 10 AM and was negative after 4 PM. Both diurnal and seasonal changes of Pn under 81% light treatment had the widest range. Stomatal conductance and transpiration rate also suggested the potential of light acclimation of the species. At high stomatal conductance, transpiration rate of 81% light treatment was slower than other treatments; but at low stomatal conductance, the transpiration rate of 81% light treated seedling was higher than other treatments. The physiological attributes showed Formosan michelia had high light plasticity and grew rapidly under high light intensity that was similar to shade intolerant species. |
