| 中文摘要 | 科技在特殊教育的應用為目前特殊教育發展的重要趨勢。美國特教基本法--障礙 者教育法案[IDEA]指出科技的研究與發展已改善了身心障礙兒童的教育。1993年美國全國 障礙協會對總統及國會之報告亦指如果提供合適的輔助性科技[assistive technology],約 75%障礙兒童能在普通班接受教育。輔助性科技產品種類很多,價錢昂貴,且不時有新產品 上市;因此系統化的評量才能選擇到正確的產品。本文第一部分討論輔助性科技評量。另外 先進科技的神經造影[neuroimaging]可用來協助鑑定腦傷、自閉症、學習障礙、及注意力缺 陷過動症[ADHD]。本文第二部分對此有詳細之解說。本文第三部分討論電腦化測驗 [computerized testing]及電腦在各種特殊教育評量的應用包括:課程本位評量、檔案評量、 動態評量等。結論部分主要討論專家系統[expert system]在特殊教育評量的應用。 |
| 英文摘要 | Technology application in special education is an important trend in the development of special education. Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) of 1997, the foundation law of special education in the US, states that federal support for carrying out technology research and development has improved the education of special needs children. In the 1993 National Council on Disability's report to the President and Congress of the United States, it was estimated that seventy-five percent of children with disabilities could remain in regular class if supplied with appropriate assistive technology. Since technology is expensive and expansive, with more and more equipment/devices being developed and marketed, a systematic assessment procedure for recommending technology is critical. The first part of this research discusses assistive technology assessment. The second part discusses neuroimaging, a state of art medical technology, which can help diagnose traumatic brain injury, autism, learning disabilities, and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. The third part dicusses computerized testing and computer application in various assessment approaches for special education : curriculum-based assessment, portfolio assessment, dynamic assessment, etc. The conclusion part mostly discusses the application of expert system in the assessment of special education students. |
