中文摘要 | 本研究之主要目的,在研究發展一套適合本土幼兒語文教學的教材,以導正目前 我國幼稚園所不適當的語文教學方式。本研究以Holdaway的自然學習教室模式,結合Goodman 的全語言教學觀,透過文獻探討,發展出適合我國幼兒園語文教學,本土化的全語言自然學 習教室模式。 實驗教學過程為期三個月,包括實驗前講習、期中檢討會、校外觀摩、全語言幼稚園經 驗分享、期末檢討會、和實驗園經驗分享暨教材推廣說明會。研究資料來源包含:文獻探討、 實驗現場觀察記錄、教學日誌、教學心得、教師晤談、幼兒作品等。 研究發現: 一、幼兒語文發展有明顯進步,包括語障生和情緒障礙幼兒均有顯著進步。 二、幼兒明顯對文字產生濃厚興趣,對文字的敏感度也明顯提昇。 三、教師專業成長顯著提昇,教學滿意度和信心也明顯增高。 四、家長對全語言自然學習持支持和肯定的態度。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study is to develop a language learning classroom model for kindergarten teaching in Taiwan. These writers adopt Holdaway's natural learning classroom model and Goodman's whole language approach to develop a Whole Language Natural Learning Classroom Model. Three kindergartens were selected to be the target settings for the implementation of this model. The experimental teaching lasted three months. The process included eight hours stuff development courses, mid-term and final meeting with the researchers, visiting a whole language classroom, joining guest speakers' lecture, and presentation of teaching experiences. The data includes literature review, classroom observation and recording, teachers' journal, interview of the teachers, and the work of the young children. The findings include: 1. There is a significant progress in terms of children's reading and writing development, this is especially true for those children with language or emotional problems. 2. The data reveals that children show their strong interests in prints, and become very sensitive toward prints after the implementation. 3. Many evidences indicate that a positive professional development in early childhood teachers, most of them declared that they are more satisfied and confident with their own teaching than ever. 4. Most of the parents are positive and supportive toward the whole language natural learning classroom model. |
