中文摘要 | 自從我國新制師資培育法通過後,師資培育從此邁入多元化的時代,一時之間似 乎百家爭鳴,我國教育事業隱然變成了一種專業。然則根據許多專家學者所的看法,莫不以 為一段長時期的專門化訓練以獲得高層次心智歷程和專門化知識技能,乃專業不可或缺之屬 性。 本文旨在回顧近數年來,我國大專院校在行政院國家科學委員會科學教育處支助下,所 進行的各項有關中小學數理科教師專業成長之多項研究,其中包括職前師資培育課程的研 究、實習教師的實習能力培養與檢定、甄選正式教師時專業能力的評量以及在職教師進修與 終生學習的充實學程等。 概略言之,過去我國教師因受文化歷史影響,又因政府拔擢優異青年以公費獎勵,故教 師先天上即具有崇高社經地位與聲望,儼然有專業之形式。然而,新制師資培育法施行下的 教職,深受市場機能導向的影響,教師如欲獲得名實相符的地位,必須在專業領域上精益求 精,以走向真正的專業。 |
英文摘要 | Teaching had been a highly respected and rewarding pseudo-profession in Taiwan because of the distinguished examination system in its history and cultural tradition of Confucius thought. With the advent of the 21□ century, calls for reform of science education have been put forward all over this country in recent years. Especially the recent legislation regarding the diversification of teacher education programs has come to effect, some steps have been taken by the Ministry of Education in an effort to bring about changes in existing educational practices toward a more mature teaching profession. Since then, the responsibility for the preparation of teachers will no longer lie on the normal colleges and normal universities. Concurrently, colleges and Universities offering teacher education programs will be eligible to prepare prospective teachers, who will be engaged in the practicum for one year before they are hired by schools and local educational authorities. This article has tried to depict an up-to-date picture of many science teacher professional development programs in a period of dramatic change in Taiwan. |
