中文摘要 | 本文提出一套分析任意多層柱面介質波導之特徵模態傳播常數的方法,此方法的 效率非常好,因為不論柱面介質的層數為何皆可分析。我們所計算的包含 TE,TM 與混合模 態,針對簡單之步階圓柱介質波導,本方法與利用教科書上所推導之公式所計算的結果吻合 ,因而驗證了本方法的正確性。 |
英文摘要 | In this paper, a procedure is developed to analyze the propagation constants of the eigenmodes of a circular dielectric cylineder, where its index of refraction is piecewise constant in the radial direction. This procedure is very general because the number of homogeneous regions is arbitrary. Numerical results, including TE, TM, and hybrid modes, are presented for some sample structures and are compared with those computed for a simple step-index profile using expressions available in standard textbooks, thus validating the present procedure. |
