英文摘要 | In previous research, a new multi-step SIR-based power control, referred to as the shorterm fading prediction-based(SFP) method, has been proposed for DS-CDMA downlink power control. The SFP method is designed at the base station in a synchronous mode. The simulation results showed that this new method performs better than the original multi-step SIR-based method. Since, in a realistic cenvironment, the SFP method may be designed in an asynchronous mode for each link, the effect of an asynchronous SFP power control on the performance of a DS_CDMA downlink is further investigated in this research. Simulation results show that the asynchronous centralized SFP method can outperform the synchronous method. |
