英文摘要 | The Characteristices of Er-doped superfluorescent fiber sources (SFSs) pumped near 980 nm in double-pass forward and backward configurations are compared numerically and experimentally. A double-pass backward SFS is found superior to the forward counterpart in the following aspects: better pump-power dependent mean wavelength stability over a wide pump power range, higher output power and higher pump efficiencies at various lengths of erbium doped fiber, and highet output power and larger linewidth at various fiber mirror reflectance. |
