中文摘要 | 本研究針對甲基乙基酮及甲苯雙成份有機蒸氣系統,進行理論吸附特性探 討。 方法上先進行活性碳對 NEK 及甲苯的單成份等溫吸附實驗,求得飽合吸附量及吸附動 力參數,然後再利用 Langmuir 等溫吸附式、Wheeler、IAST 理論及 Nader Vahdat 所推導 出之雙成份吸附貫穿曲線模式,理論預測雙成份系統的飽和吸附量及貫穿曲線。研究結果顯 示在雙成份系統中,MEK 飽和吸附量比單成份系統明顯減小。 而 MEK 為弱吸附質,容易受 到苯強吸附質競爭吸附之影響,使得吸付量明顯減小, 且 MEK 之出口濃度大於進口濃度。 當雙成份系統中強吸附質與弱吸附質進流濃度比值愈大時,MEK 之出口最大濃度亦隨之增加 ;而比值愈小時則 MEK 愈快貫穿。 |
英文摘要 | In this research, the adsorption characteristics, such as adsorption capacity, adsorption rae constant, isothermal curve, and breakthrough curve, for a single adsorbate on activated carbon were investigated. The Wheeler model and Nader Vahdat model were used to predict the break- through curves and adsorption capacities for binary components (MEK and TOL) from single-component adsorption capacity data. The results showed that the adsorption capacities of MEK in the binary system were significantly decreased. Even a small amount of toluene in the mixture tremendously reduced the bed adsorption capacity of MEK. When the ratio of the concentration of strong adsorbate (toluene) to that of weak adsorbate (MEK) increased, the maximum breakthrough concentration of MEK also increased. This study also found that the lower the ratios of strong adsorbate to weak adsorbate were, the faster the breakthrough time of adsorption bed for weak adsorbate occurred. |
