中文摘要 | 在地震力作用下,使用阻尼器是一種有效確保結構物安全的方法。 在大部份依傳 統方法設計之結構系統中,很難有效地提供消散地震所引起之能量的機制,所以將阻尼器加 裝於結構物以增加結構體之耐震功能的應用已日漸增加,漸成風潮。本篇文章主要探討一棟 2/5 比例尺之 5 層樓結構物加裝黏彈性阻尼器後, 在 Hachinoche ( 1968 )地震力作用 下,探討結構物之反應,並應用一種先進的黏彈性阻尼器之有限元素來分析其行為模式,且 與實驗之結果作比較。由實驗結果可知,黏彈性阻尼器的行為與環境溫度有關,當環境溫度 增加時,黏彈性阻尼器吸收地震能量的能力會降低。數值分析和實驗結果都顯示出,一棟裝 設了黏彈性阻尼器之結構物,在受到地震力之作用下,其反應確有實質的改善,以確保結構 物在地震力下之安全性。由數值分析和實驗結果兩者相比較,可確知有限元素之數值分析模 式可獲得相當高之精確度。 |
英文摘要 | Supplemental damping can be an effective means of controlling the response fo buildings during earthquakes. The use of supplemental damping devices is increasing due to the difficulty of providing effective energy dissipation in most structural formations. In this paper, an advanced finite element formulation for the viscoelastic damper is adopted to examine the numerical results of using viscoelastic dampers to mitigate the seismic response of a 2/5-scale building. The structural behavior of a 2/5-scale 5-story building equipped with viscoelastic dampers is analyzed while it is subjected to Hachinoch earthquake ground motion (1968). Results indicate that the behavior of the viscoelastic dampers is dependent on the ambient temperature. The energy-absorbing capacity of such dampers decreases as the ambient temperature increases. Numerical and experimental results show substantial reductions in the seismic response of a building equipped with viscoelastic dampers. THe correlation between numerical and experimental results shows very good compatibility. |
