中文摘要 | 由於心臟血管用導管是直接侵入人體心血管循環系統,與血液直接接觸,為安全 性要求極高之醫療器材。其在臨床上使用的目的為動脈血壓量測、中央靜脈壓量量測、藥物 及液體輸送、顯影劑注射、血氧濃度量測及營養物質輸送等用途。 工業技術研究院化學工業研究所在經濟部醫療器材技術發展科專計畫支持下,陸續完成 高附加價值單管腔、參管腔及肆管腔 TPU 中央靜脈導管產品量製程研製, 及安全性認證與 性能測試評估,並經確認所研發之 TPU 中央靜脈導管產品具有優異之生物相容性。 再經由 業界合作計畫, 已將研發成果先期技術移轉擴散至國外相關醫療器材業界,在未來 1-2 年 內,我國業者產製高附加價值心血管用導管系列產品將指日可待。 |
英文摘要 | Catheters are tube-type devices used for medical diagnosis and related treatments. The devices are usually inserted in the body for connecting body components with outside medical apparatus. Among various catheters, Central Venous Gather (CVC) is one of the classes of catheters which require high safety demands owing to its direct contact with blood and the implanted location where cardiovascular vessels are the most cases. In general, CVC has the following clinical applications: arterial pressure measurement, central venous pressure measurement, infusion of fluids and drugs, injection of contrast medium, blood oxygen level measurement, and transportation of nutritious substances. TPU CVC catheters developed at Union Chemical Laboratories (UCL), ITRI are under the auspices of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) of the Republic of China under the Medical Devices Technology Development Project from 1994-1998. This project has allowed UCL to develop a single lumen catheter, three lumen catheters, four lumen catheters for mass production, safety evaluation, and pass for various functional tests. The Pig Research Institute Taiwan (PRIT) has also commended the TPU CVC catheters developed at UCL for its excellent biocompatibility with the evidence from animal tests. The techniques developed so far have been transferred to medical device related interested partners by collaborative projects between UCL and industrial companies. As forecasted, local manufacturers will begin producing high value-added CVC catheters in the near future. |
