中文摘要 | 本文由統計教學中最重要也倍受爭議的統計量「平均數」談起。先點出平均數與 統計對象之間的,概念與對應的不適應性,由此導出對統計的反思。因為傳統統 計的定義限制了統計思考、統計教有與統計教學的發展。故而統計學者和統計教 師在統計處理過程中,經常只注重數學運算與技巧,而忽略統計與功能性的運思。 因此,造成學生不易辨識「數學對象與技巧」和「統計對象與思維」問的差異。 這對統計教有有著重大的影響。本文亦反思出,統計是為一個研究資料群的數量 結構的學科,進而舉證其在信賴區間與假設測驗的實用性。 |
英文摘要 | In this paper, it start out with considering the statistical average teaching because average is one of the most important and controversial statistics but is easy calculated. It points out the illegitimate conceptions and correspondences between the statistical average and its statistical objects. This leads that we need reflections on statistics because the traditional definitions affect the development of statistical thinking, statistics education, and statistical teaching. Statisticians and statistics educators often focus on mathematical operations or methods in statistical processing procedures and ignore functional or statistical operations. Hence, this confuses students with the differences between " mathematical objects and techniques " and " statistical objects and teaching". This has a great influences on the reforms and improvement of statistics education. It also reflects that statistics is a discipline for studying the numerical structures of data groups. Then, it concludes the validation of the reflections by illustrating confidence interval and testing hypotheses for the population average. |
