中文摘要 | 本研究是以臺北地區六所國小四至六年級各一班全體學生為對象,進行調查,共1,325人,再採用因素設計,選取806人,探究其考試焦慮與學業成就、個人特質和家庭背景的關係。結果發現,高考試焦慮兒童的盛行率約為5;考試焦慮與個人智力高低無關;低考試焦慮者,學業成績表現較佳;其焦慮特質或情緒不穩者,考試焦慮較高;個人自我期許愈低或父母滿意度愈低,考試焦慮愈高;家庭社經地位屬中下或母親為勞工或母親為家庭主婦者,學童考試焦慮偏高人數較多;獨生子女與長子女的考試焦慮高於其他出生序。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study is to investigate the impacts of individual versus family background characteristics in relation to children's test anxiety. The instruments used by this study include the Spielberger's Test Anxiety Inventory, State-Trait Anxiety Scales, Lin's Chinese Children's Test Anxiety Scale, Junior Eysenck Personality Inventory, Rosenberg's Selfesteem Scale, Raven's Progressive Matrices, and others. 1429 subjects were randomly selected from students of 4-6 grades in six elementary schools of Taipei City. Based on the multilevel selection by the Spielberger's Test Anxiety Inventory and Chinese Children's Test Anxiety Scale, a final 806 students were categorized as low, median and high test anxiety groups. Through comparison of the three anxiety groups, some major findings show tliat: 1. There were no differences in IQ scores among these groups. 2. There was an inverse relationship of school performance to test anxiety. 3. Those individual characterisitcs such as neurotic personality, high anxiety trait, low selfesteem, lower parental satisfaction, tended to have higher test anxiety. 4. Those children whose mothers were labor work or housewife tended to have highertest anxiety. 5. Those children with family background as lower-middle or low social economic status tended to have higher test anxiety. 6. The most predictable variable on test anxiety was trait anxiety (r=.90). |
