英文摘要 | A surface fitting algorithm using translational sweeping was proposed for the surface reconstruction of 3D measured data. The proposed sweep surface was generated essentially by blending the trajectories of several cross-section curves swept along some profile curves. The sweep-surface fitting was formulated as a nonlinear optimization problem for which the root-mean-squares of the distance between the measured data and the fitted surface was minimized, which yields the unknown cross-section curves, the profile curves and the parameter values corresponding to each measured data. The proposed sweep surface fitting algorithm can be used to describe a broad type of surfaces that are generated by sweeping. In addition, it can also be applied to describe several commonly used CAD entities such as quadratic surfaces, bilinear surfaces, rule surfaces, linear Coons surfaces and tabulated cylinders. |
