英文摘要 | Hydrogen water chemistry (HWC) is currently one of the most important mitigating methods in overcoming the SCC problems in BWR, which occur in the recalculation, clean-up, RHR, core-spray and feedwater systems under the normal water chemistry condition. Effectiveness of HWC is evaluated on the basis of the ECP (electrochemical potential) of the stainless steel components under operating environments. High temperature reference electrodes are the essential tools needed to measure ECP in-situ. However, the applicability and behaviors of electrodes in BWR environments vary significantly, due to the differences in electrode materials and designs in construction. In this paper, various reference electrodes will be summarily introduced. It is suggested that combinations of multiple electrodes are needed to promote the accuracy and reliability of the in- situ ECP measuring system. |
