英文摘要 | The Chirnei porphyry copper deposit is developed in the Chirnei igneous complex located in the Coastal Range of eastern Taiwan. The complex consists of diabase, pyroxene-andesite, pyroxene-hornblende and@site, and hornblende-andesite that experienced strong hydrothermal alteration, stockwork-quartz veining, and low-grade disseminated copper mineralization. Fluid inclusion data indicate that the copper mineralization probably occurred at temperatures 550 °∼ 950 ℃ from hydrothermal fluids with high salinities (50 ∼ 85 eq. wt.% NaCI ± KCI). These high-salinity brines were probably exsolved directly from the crystallizing magma at low pressures (370 ∼ 750 bars). They are complex chloride brines with significant concentrations of Na, K, Ca, Cu, Fe and S. Partial mixing of them with meteoric and/or sea water at hydrostatic pressure, created a fluid characterizejdby temperatures ranging from 200 °∼ 400 ℃ and salinities lower than 20 wt.% NaGI eq.. Circulation of this mixed fluid formed alteration assemblages as they reacted with host igneous rocks. The hydrothermal system at the Chirnei porphyry copper deposit exhibits several features that are different from other welldescribed porphyry copper systems; they include: (1) extremely high-temperature, high-salinity nature of the early fluid, (2) early fluid saturation of the intrusion at high temperatures causing Narich alteration, (3) significant mixing of magmatic fluid with dilute fluids until the intrusions cooled to temperatures below 400@C. These differences are probably due to the shallow emplacement of the intrusive rocks. |
