英文摘要 | The influence of Reynolds number and free-stream turbulence intensity on the surface flow and aerodynamic performance of a cantilever NACA 0012 wing model is studied. The characteristic surface flow modes in the domain of chord Reynolds number and angle of attack are identified using the technique of surface-oil flow. The lift and drag are measured with a PC-based force/moment balance. Two free-stream turbulence intensities, 0.2% and 0.5%, are tested. The variation of surface flow with Reynolds number and angle of attack, including laminar separation, separation bubble, transition, turbulent separation, and three-dimensional flow, is discussed. The behavior of separation bubble at low free-stream turbulence is apparently different from that at large free-stream turbulence intensity. The aerodynamic performance is closely related to the surface flow modes, The free-stream turbulence intensity strongly affects the aerodynamic performance. |
