中文摘要 | 金屬零件表面經常被鍍以一層由其他金屬或合金形成的電鍍薄層,以改善零件的 表面性能,如增強其耐磨性等。電鍍薄層的機械性能對其在實際使用中所起的作用有著重要 的影響。本文提出一種利用通用拉伸試驗機對電鍍薄層的機械性能進行精確測定的方法。這 種方法既簡單、易於實現,又不需投入很多資金。一方面,使用一種無夾緊裝置的零件固定 辦法,以保證拉伸試樣的兩端在試驗中能夠均勻受力,避免常用的夾緊裝置在夾緊處引起的 應力集中。另一方面,利用高分辨率攝像機對薄層拉伸試樣的變形進行非接觸測量,使在通 常的測量方法中由于位移傳感器附著于薄層試樣上而產生的附加應力得以消除。實驗結果顯 示,用這種方法獲得的測量數據具有很好的重覆性。本文利用這種方法對電鍍形成的銅、鎳 薄層的機械性能及失效過程進行了研究。這種方法同樣可用於測量由其它材料形形成的薄層 的機械性能。 |
英文摘要 | It is oftern the case that the surface of a metal workpiece is covered with an electrodeposited thin layer of another metal or an alloy, to improve the functional property of the surface. Mechanical properties of electrodeposited thin layers are important in their functional applications. This article presents a simple and inexpensive method to precisely evaluate the mechanical properties of thin layers, by making use of commercial tensile testing machines. A clampless specimen fixation method ensuring an evenly distributed stress at the two extremes of a specimen is used to avoid the stress concentration caused by fixation grips. The deformation of the specimen is then detected by a video-camera based contactless technique to eliminate the additional stress resulting from the attachment of measurement elements to the specimen. Experimental results show that the repeatability of the measurements is very good. By means of this method, the property characteristics and the failure process of electrodeposited copper and nickel layers have been studied. The method can be extended to evaluate the mechanical properties of other thin sheets. |
