中文摘要 | 3週齡豬隻以鼻腔接種1×10�� TCID50 PRRS(豬繁殖與呼吸道症候群)病毒連續3 天,8 天後再以 5 × 10 �e個豬霍亂桿菌( Salmonella choleraesuis )接種,成功的造 成與臨床病例相同的豬 PRRS 及豬霍亂桿菌症混合病變。 本試驗並應用此模式探討 ceftiofur 及 lincospectin 對豬霍亂桿菌症之控制效果。所有接種並用藥的豬隻皆比接種 但不用藥豬隻有較高之日增重( ADG ),但統計學上並不顯著( p > 0.05 )。接種後, 不管用藥與否,皆可從豬隻分離出 PRRS 病毒及豬霍亂桿菌。試驗期間,用藥對體溫,細菌 分離及肺與肝之病變無顯著影響。 但豬隻注射 5mg ╱ kg ceftiofur 5 天同時飼料添加 220ppm lincospectin 10 天者, 其 ADG 與不接種不用藥者相同。 豬隻注射 3mg ╱ kg ceftiofur 5 天同時飼料添加 220ppm lincospectin 10 天者,其豬霍亂桿菌之分離率顯著 的較接種但不用藥者低。以上結果顯示,要有效的控制豬隻 PRRS 病毒及豬霍亂桿菌之混合 感染,更長時間的用藥方能臻效。 |
英文摘要 | Intranasal inoculation of 3-week-old pigs with 1×10�� TCID50 porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) virus for three consecutive days, followed by 5 × 10 �e Salmonella choleraesuis eight days later, successfully induced a combined lesions of PRRS and salmonellosis similar to field cases. Using this model, the efficacy of ceftiofur and lincospectin, alone and in combination, for the control of S. choleraesuis infection in pigs were tested. All challenged medicated groups had higher average daily gain (ADG) than that of challenged nonmedicated group but statistically insignificant. At necropsy, PRRS virus and S. choleraesuis could be reisolated from challenged pigs regardless of medication or nonmedication. During the experimental period, drug treatment did not significantly improve the body temperature, bacterial isolation, and pneumonic and hepatic lesion scores. However, pigs in group 4 (intramuscular injection of 5mg/kg body weight of ceftiofur for 5 days and the addition of 220 ppm of lincospectin in feed for 10 days) had an ADG similar to nonchallenged nonmedicated group. A significant reduction in the isolation of S. choleraesuis from lung and spleen was also observed for group 5 pigs (similar treatment program as group 4 but with 3mg/kg body weight of ceftiofur) when compared with the challenged nonmedicated group. This result suggested that a longer antibiotic treatment program might be helpful to produce a successful control of this combined infection. |
