英文摘要 | Casting technology serves as an economic and automatic forming process. This technology could reduce production cost in the application of transportation parts manufacturing. For instance, if we use high dimension/strength casting to replace conventional parts, manufactured by the mixed process of casting, forging, heat treatment and machining, in the production of transportation parts with strict mechanical properties, we can definitely save the production cost. It is therefore the rate of casting usage in the automobile industry increases year by year. Besides the environmental concern and energy crisis are prevalent, not only conventional gasoline engines but environmental product--electric automobile will face an unchanged issue--the weight reduction of automobile. This article gives a brief introduction to the development of high strength, lightweight alloy casting of transportation parts. |
