中文摘要 | 本研究之目的在於探討在高油與膽固醇飲食下,薏仁之添加對倉鼠之血漿脂質的影響。實驗動物為雄性倉鼠,採隨機取樣將其分為7組,其中6組分別以糙薏仁、精白薏仁、糙米、精白米、燕麥或高筋麵粉為主飼料,再添加黃豆油與氫化牛油各半作為高油飲食之來源,並各添加0.5%膽固醇,來探討高油脂飲食所引起的高血脂現象是否會因薏仁的添加而有所改善?另一組以Rat chow飼養,作為低油脂飲食之比較。動物飼養8週期滿後將倉鼠禁食一夜,犧牲取樣及進行血漿脂質的分析。 實驗結果顯示:糙薏仁及燕麥組之血漿總脂質、三酸甘油酯(TG)、總膽固醇、極低密度脂蛋白膽固醇(VLDL-C)、低密度脂蛋白膽固醇(LDL-C)之值皆明顯低於糙米、精白米及麵粉組(p<0.05),而精白薏仁之血漿總脂質、總膽固醇、VLDL-C、LDL-C之值明顯低於精白米及麵粉組(p<0.05),且VLDL-C之值亦明顯低於糙米組,TG則略低於精白米組(p<0.10);至於高密度脂蛋白膽固醇(HDL-C)的含量,不論是攝食糙薏仁、精白薏仁或燕麥,皆顯著高於精白米組及糙米組(p<0.05)。由此可知薏仁在高油飲食下確實比米和小麥較可降低血漿脂質。 |
英文摘要 | This study investigated the effect of adlay on the plasma lipids of hamsters fed a high fat and cholesterol diet. Forty-two hamsters were randomly divided into 7 dietary groups. One group was fed rat chow as a low fat control group; the others were fed dehulled adlay, polished adlay, brown rice, polished rice, oat or flour experimental diets, respectively. Each experimental diet was mixed with soybean oil and hydrogenated beef-tallow as high (16%) fat sources and 0.5% cholesterol together to induce hyperlipidemic, and to investigate whether could adlay prevent hyperlipidemia. The animals were fed for 8 weeks, starved over-night and then sacrificed. Plasma lipids were determined. Results showed that the values of plasma total lipids, triacylglycerols (TG), cholesterol, very low density lipoprotein-cholesterol (VLDL-C), and low density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-C) were lower in the dehulled adlay and oat groups than in the brown rice, polished rice and folur groups. Furthermore, the rats fed the polished adlay diet had lower plasma total lipids, cholesterol, VLDL-C and LDL-C than did those fed the polished rice or flour diet. The plasma VLDL-C in the polished adlay group was lower than that in the brown rice group, and the plasma TG in the polished adlay group was slightly lower (P<0.10) than that in the polished rice group. It was also observed that the levels of plasma high density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-C) in the adlay and oat groups were significantly higher than those in the rice groups. Thus, incorporating adly into high fat diet reduced plasma lipids more than did feeding rice or flour to hamsters. |
