中文摘要 | 本研究旨在探討智障學生家長決定子女教育安置的經驗、考量因素及對子女教育 安置的意見。本研究是採立意抽樣,以大臺北地區就讀啟智學校和在家教育國中和國小一 年級智障學生家長為研究對象,運用半結構方式進行訪談。 本研究的主要結果如下:(一)智障學生家長決定子女之教育安置時往往經歷被拒絕、延 緩就讀、延長就讀年限等情形,其中被拒絕是啟智學校和在家教育家長最為普遍的經驗。 (二)智障學生家長決定子女教育安置時會考量學校因素、孩子本身條件、參觀結果及他 人建議等因素。其中學校與孩子本身的因素是家長最主要考量的重點。(三)大多數啟智 學校家長對目前子女的教育安置情形感到滿意,滿意的原因在於啟智學校的師資專業、老 師接納度高及學校的環境設備佳。至於在家教育學生家長則大多數不滿意。不滿意的原因 主要是效果不彰。(四)多數智障學生家長同意子女被安置在比目前更融合的學習環境, 但希望學校相關人員的態度、師資及便體設備能夠配合。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study were to explore what parents of students with intellectual disabilities had experienced to make decisions of special education placements, the factors to be considered, and their viewpoints regarding the existing placements and more integrated placements. The subjects, including the parents whose children were in special school and home bound, were interviewed by semi-structured method. The results of this study were as follows:(1)The experience of making decision about special education placement by parents of children with mental retardation: The frequently experience was the rejection from schools. (2)The factors when they were making decisions about special education placement for their children: The mainly considering factors were school and children. (3)The situation and reasons of parents for their satisfactory of the education placemnet of their children: In the 28 cases whose children were in special schools, 25 cases were satisfied with their children education placement, and otherwise were not. In the other 12 cases whose children were in home bound, 10 cases were not satisfied with their children educatino placement, and only 2 cases were satisfied. (4)Their opinion about special education placement for their children: In the 40 cases, 26 cases agreed with the re-placement into one more inclusive environment for their children once the new education placement is beter than the old one. Other 10 cases disagreed with this placement because of their consider of the children's ability. |
