英文摘要 | A modified stepwise model was employed to analyze the formation of simple taurocholate (TC) micelles with an aggregation number (n). Due to the cooperative nature of the equilibrium constants (K1 to Kn-2) and the much larger value of the final equilibrium constant (Kn-1), this modified stepwise model further validates the Debye monomer-micelle model. Morevoer, the value of the overall equilibrium constant estimated by the stepwise model is almost the same as that estimated by the Debye monomer-micelle model. The value obtained for the initial equilibrium constant (K1) of the stepwise model was much smaller than values of other equilibrium constants. These results suggest that the concentration of TC dimers is negligible. Based on the n and critical micellar concentration (CMC) for simple taurochenodeoxycholate (TCDC) and tauroursodeoxycholate (TUDC) micelles, the monomer-micelle model predicts the relationship between TCDC monomer concentration and total TCDC concentration, and the relationship between TUDC monomer concentration and total TUDC concentration. |
