英文摘要 | It has become the tendency in this time of high technology to develop technological auxiliary tools for the disabled to assist with their self-learning, growing and independence. Combining the functions of computer is the best consideration within the available choices. But most of the disable people are not able to communicate with the computer through the ordinary keyboard. Therefore, they are excluded from the products of technology. The Chinese Chang Jei Morse code from literature basically considered the graphic character of prefixs. In this paper, we developed a new Chinese Chang Jei Morse codes that could be easily learned and operated quickly to be the tools of communication with a Chinese computer. The considerations utilized in this new method include the appeared frequency of the prefixs used, the stroke orders and the shape of the Chinese character. Experimental results showed that the new edited codes are not only easier for the disabled people to learn, but also reduce the number of inputs needed. Therefore, it is able to avoid errors caused by the weariness that results from typing for long periods of time. It definitely has significant benefits for the disabled when keyed in Chinese. |
