中文摘要 | 負載(load)之有效電力(active power)及無效電力(reactive power),理論上均 可由發電機 (generator) 供給,但無效電力的傳輸, 增加線路電力損失,佔用線路容量, 極不經濟。如能在靠近電感性 (inductive) 負載側,利用電容器 (capacitor) 供給無效電 力,將經濟有效。本文說明裝設於低壓側之電容器改善功率因數的效益,尤其可節省電費, 降低生產成本;且在電力吃緊的系統上提升供電容量。最後並以一改善功率因數之實例,驗 證其經濟效益。 |
英文摘要 | Theoretically speaking, the load of active power and reactive power can be supplied by a generator. The transmission of the reactive power, however, results in increased power loss as well as restricted line capabilit. That, in turn, would be wasteful and uneconomical as far as the power usage is concerned. Such inefficient use of power can be improved with the utilization of the reactive power supplied by the capacitor near the side of the inductive load. In the following essay, the benefits of capacitor in low-voltage installation and its effectiveness in improving the power factor will be discussed in detail. The important advantages of such installation include devreased electricity cost, lowered production cost, and increased power capacity for systems with limited power supply. Finally, the cost-effectiveness of this low-voltage capacitor will be exemplified with a case illustration. |
