英文摘要 | A new approach to formulating the imperfect velocity and evlocity-correction equations for the discretized momentum equations is proposed. Instead of following the imperfect velocity equations by Patankar [1], the terms with the sum of the neighbouring velocity-correction items were considered in the discretized momentum equations in this paper. This approach combined with the SIMPLE and SIMPLER algorithms was used to simulate 2-D viscous incompressible flows including a lid-driven cavity flow, a rectangular tank flow, a backward-facing step flow and a natural convection flow inside an enclosure. In general, this approach was capable of calculating all cases with success. However, the iterated convergent rate was not apparently improved. Investigations to the required iterations for the computed flows were carried out and an improved method for accelerating the convergent rate was proposed and tested. It is found that this procedure can significantly reduced the iteration number compared with those of original SIMPLE and SIMPLER algorithms. |
