中文摘要 | 擋土牆是用來撐擋土石,以維持牆身前後不同高程土石面之穩定及安全之結構物 。尤其是在山坡地及丘陵地等之開發常使用擋土牆設計。然而地震往往會造成擋土牆的龜裂 、滑移、傾斜,甚至倒塌,使得鄰近結構物遭波及,進而導致人類生命財產的損失。為能確 保擋土牆在地震力下的安全,必須對擋土牆與土壤之互制作用行為加以探討,其中牽涉到無 限遠域之散射(radiation)問題。本文在時間域上以有限元素法分析擋土牆在地震時的行為 ,並利用相似理論(Similarity)合理地模擬土壤無限延伸之散射特性,使分析結果能與實際 情況較為契合。由本文分析所得的數值解可深入瞭解整個系統的行為,以利於往後擋土牆之 設計工作,進而能確保擋土牆在地震力下的功能及保障生命財產之安全。 |
英文摘要 | The retaining wall has been used to sustain the earth pressure resulting from the soil behind the wall and to maintain the stability and safety of structures, especially for the development of the mountain hill. In the past, retaining walls are often subjected to cracks, sliding, tumbling and failure, and induce damage to buildings and life loss during earthquakes. To ensure the safety of retaining walls, it is required to investigate the interactive behavior of the retaining wall and the soil under earthquake loadings. The difficulty of the simulation of the radiation condition for the unbounded soil medium, which carries energy to the far field has been encountered in the past study. In this paper, an accurate time domain procedure in virtue of similarity theory has been developed to simulate the radiation features of the infinite domain. It is illustrated from numerical analyses that retaining walls posses quite different characteristics between the system with and without the radiation condition. To facilitate the future designs of retaining walls, it is necessary to gain inside into the seismic behavior of the entire system. |
