英文摘要 | In 1987/88 to 1993/94 spring-planted F160 cane fields, 3,960 sterilized Argyroploce schistaceana egg cards were placed to trap the Trichogramma. Of the 3,934 egg cards recovered, 16.0% of the cards and 7.4% of the eggs on the cards were parasitized. Of the 3,172 Trichogramma adults which emerged from the parasitized eggs, 611 were males with 81.0% were T. chilonis; the remaining 19.0% were T. ostriniae. T. chilonis first appeared in the last half of February, reaching a peak of 48.8 adults per trap in the first half of June. This reduced to 13.8-18.2 adults per trap in July to the first half of August and 0.0-0.5 per trap were found thereafter till harvest. For T. ostriniae, the highest peak was only 15.0-16.7 adults per trap in March, then reduced to 1.2-10.2 adults per trap in April to August and were rarely trapped later. On the other hand, parasitizations of 2.5% egg cards and 16.5% eggs were observed when 926 sterilized Ostrinia furnacalis eggs cards were placed over a period of 3 incomplete crop years, 1989/90 to 1991/92. Only 83 adults with 21 males, including 16 T. chilonis and 5 T. ostriniae, emerged from the parasitized Ostrinia eggs. |
