英文摘要 | Nitric oxide, synthesized from L-arginine by nitric oxide synthase, plays an important role in cardiovascular regulation of the central nervous system. The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of nitric oxide on cardiovascular response and sympathetic nerve activity in the nucleus tractus solitarius in anesthetized cats. Microinjection of L-arginine, a precursor of nitric oxide produced decreases in blodd pressure and heart rate and inhibitionof sympathetic vertebral nerve activity. On the contrary, microinjection of NG-monomethyl-Larginine, a nitric oxide synthase inhibitior into the nucleus tractus solitarius produced increase in blodd pressure and heart rate and excitation of sympathetic vertebral nerve activity. This suggests that nitric oxide may involve in central cardiovascular regulation. |
