英文摘要 | The goal of developing〝CHT-I Switching Operating Support System ( ISOSS)〞is to provide an easy and integrated operating environment for maintenance crafts in Chung-Hwa Telecom International (CHT-I) to easily maintain their gateway switching systems located in Taipei and Kao-Shung. The software architecture of ISOSS adopts multi-tier client/server and uses Windows NT Chinese edition to implement. The software function of ISOSS can be divided into three categories. The first category is that we focus on developing an operating environment that can centralize switching maintenance, administration and alarm monitoring in one office. The second one is to supervise all the alarms generated from T1/E1 digital trunks and CCS No.7 data links with their associated route map simultaneously. The last category is real time network performance monitoring. We ontinuously gather and analyze traffic data of each trunk for calculating the call completion rate and any out of service message. If any pre-defined threshold is reached, an alarm indicator will display on a world map pointing out which trunk has traffic abnormal phenomenon. In this article, we introduce the design philosophy of the ISOSS and its network infrastructure. Besides, the software functions and their database format are also presented. |
