中文摘要 | 自從1969年網際網路誕生以來,它在教學、學習、資訊獲取及通訊等方面的影響 日益重要。透過網際網路此一功能強大的媒介體,醫師們得以快速地傳遞許多以知識為基礎 的醫學資源。電傳教育內之遠距教學、電傳醫學的遠距治療與即時連結的電傳通訊的興起更 促使了醫學專業領域內推動資訊科技的發展。大部分的醫學專門研究如:核能醫學、病理學 、放射學、皮膚病學、生理學、急救醫學、一般醫學、基因醫學正密集的嘗試展開網際網路 的不同應用,以改善他們在實際上的運作。此一論文將報導這些專門領域中如何運用網際網 路作為他們在教學、學習與實際應用上的一項利器。在醫學教育中,實證基礎醫學正以一個 工具的型態出現。同時也將討論到有那些法律議題是會影響到整個過程的?醫學資訊供應者 的角色亦益形重要,他們扮演著知識管理的領導角色,而且和那些從事教學的醫學專業人員 有著密不可分的合作關係,醫學圖書館或資訊中心也將成為把技術引入組織的集中點。 |
英文摘要 | Since the birth of the Internet in 1969, its impact on teaching and learning, information access, and communications is immensely important. The Internet provides the physicians a useful medium for the rapid transfer of knowledge-based medical resources. The rise of tele-education for distance learning, telemedicine for distance therapy, and telecommunications for instantaneous connectivity propels medical professionals to deploy the cutting edge information technology. Most medical specialties such as nuclear medicine, pathology, radiology, dermatology, physiology, emergency medicine, general medicine, genomic medicine and others are intensively trying to explore the different applications of Internet to improve their practices. This paper will report the trends and predictions of how these specialties are using Internet as a tool for their teaching, learning and practice. Evidence-based medicine is emerging as a tool in medical education. And how will the legal aspects impact such processes? The role of the medical information providers is increasingly important. They are leaders in knowledge management and provide partnership with the medical professionals in teaching and learning. Medical libraries or information centers will become the focal point in bringing technology to their organizations. |
