英文摘要 | A multi-speed bicycle drive hub includes a hub shaft, a driver, a hub sleeve, and a planetary gear train as parts of the speed-changing transmission. The first step in the design of a bicycle drive hub is to enumerate all the admissible planetary gear trains that can provide a set of desired speed ratios. Here, the kinematic structural characteristics of admissible planetary gear trains are identified first. Next, an efficient methodology is formulated to systematically enumerate all the possible configurations of such mechanisms. As a result, an atlas of planetary gear trains with up to eight links is constructed. The results of this research are helpful in the development of new multi- speed bicycle drive hubs. |
