中文摘要 | 本研究在控制室溫下(25±1.5℃)以樟樹嫩葉飼養樟葉蜂(Mesoneuna rufonota (Rohwer)),探討其形態及生活史。該蟲目前在南部發生於2月中旬至7月,棲群密度以3-5月較高。於室內飼育一年可發生七代,一代發育日數為18.5 ± 2.0天,包括卵期3.0 ± 0.1天,幼蟲期8.1 ± 0.9天,前蛹期0.5 ± 0.1天,蛹期7.0 ± 0.6 天。其幼蟲食害樟樹嫩葉造成損害。樟葉蜂之卵呈長橢圓形,乳白色,光滑,長1.10 ± 0.12 mm,寬0.49 ± 0.13 mm。卵散產或以直線排列,產於嫩葉葉背。孵化時刻多在6-8 a.m.,平均孵化率為72.2%。孵化後初齡幼蟲常群棲於葉背取食葉肉。幼蟲之頭及胸足呈灰黑色,全身乳白色,為4齡。前蛹期,體色轉變為黃色。結絲質網,蛹黑褐色,長橢圓形,長9.6 ± 0.55 mm寬3.7 ± 0.2 mm,平均羽化率為98.1%。成蟲頭黑色,觸角絲狀7節,胸部桔紅色,腹部黑色有光澤。雌、雄成蟲體長分別為7.0 ± 0.5 mm、5.6 ± 0.4mm。雌蟲羽化後即具產卵能力,產卵期平均2.8天,平均每隻總產卵數264粒。雌蟲於葉背以鋸狀產卵管鋸開0.9 ± 0.1mm洞口,再將卵產於葉肉組織內。雌、雄成蟲平均壽命分別為4.0 ± 0.5天及6.8 ± 0.66天。該蜂有行孤雌生殖及有性生殖之現象。 |
英文摘要 | Morphology and life cycle of camphor-tree leaf bee (Mesonurae rufonota (Rohwer)) by feeding camphor-tree young leave were studied under laboratory condition (25 ± 1.5 ℃). This pest occurred from mid-February to July in southern Taiwan. The population density was high from March to May. In the laboratory rearing, this pest had 7 generations per year. The developmental stage took 18.5 @2.0 days per generation which has included egg stage 3.0 ± 0.1 days, larvae stage 8.0 ± 0.9 days, prepupa stage 0.5 ± 0.1 days, and pupa stage 7.0 ± 0.6 days. This pest caused damage by feeding the young leave of camphor-tree. The egg was oblong- shaped with 1.10 ± 0.12 mm in length and 0.49 ± 0.13 mm in width. The color was milk-white and glabrous. Eggs were laid scattered or arranged in a line on the lower surface of young leave. The hatching rate was 72.2% in the laboratory condition. Most of young larvae fed on the mesophyll of leaf immediately followed the hatching. Larvae molted 3 times with a total of 4 larval instar. In the prepupal stage, the color of body turned yellow and pupation occurs in a cocoon with dark brown color. Papa is oblong-shaped and 9.6 ± 0.5 mm in length, 3.7 ± 10.2 mm in width. The average emergence rate was 98.1. The body length of female and male adults were 7.0 ± 0.5 mm and 5.6 ± 0.4 mm, respectively. The female adults could oviposit soon after it have emerged. The oviposition period was 2.8 days. Average numbers of total eggs laid per female was 264. The female used saw-like ovipositor to saw an hole around 0.9 ± 0.1 mm width under lower surface of the young leaf and insert an egg in mesophyll of leaf. Longevity of the female and male adults were 4.0 ± 0.5 and 6.8 ± 0.6 days, respectively. |
