英文摘要 | Several types of periodical conductive surfaces with dielectric filling are studied concerning their backscattering to a normally incident transverse magnetic (TM) plane wave. The effects of the frequency, profile shape, period-to-depth ratio, and filling permittivity are analyzed. It is observed that a sawtooth profile can be used to reduce backscattering at high frequencies, and that elliptical surfaces can be used to reduce backscattering at low frequencies. The use of filling material further reduces the backscattering cross section. |
