中文摘要 | 本文以質化研究方法針對兒童居家電視觀看行為進行觀察。研究發現,電視卡通 是兒童最重要的觀看節目型態,卡通觀看的過程中,兒童不僅注意力集中,同時展現出獨特 電視的社會性使用。大體而言,兒童看卡通時不常與共視者溝通,父母對兒童看卡通的態度 放任居多,甚或排拒 (無暇 ) 溝通。 由於兒童對卡通節目的內涵意義與外延意義多不甚了 解,本文進而申論媒體教育與電視素養的內涵與重要性,並對我國在教育政策上實施媒體教 育的步驟提出建議。 |
英文摘要 | TV cartoon has been one the most watched genre among children. The present study was conducted to investigate how children watch cartoon in the family context and how they use TV socially. By utilizing ethnographic method, there were 9 families observed in total in 1997. The research concluded that unlike other types of TV programs watching, children usually have full attention to cartoon during the viewing processes. Parents tend to ignore the impact of cartoon viewing and pose little intervention. In general, children were not quite capable of decoding the connotation and denotation of the TV text, which leads to the suggestions that the need for media literacy. Strategies and steps of media literacy education were also elaborated in the article. |
