英文摘要 | A rate-dependent model is presented for undrained creep of clays. The model requires a quantitative stress-strain-strain rate function that is unique regardless of test types such as creep, conventional loading, etc. This stress- strain-strain rate function can be derived based on the strain-time function for soil creep suggested by the authors. The rate-dependent soil model is implemented into a computer program FLAC using the FLACish option. Studies show that the rate-dependent soil model can give reasonable predictions of the laboratory creep test results of various loading patterns. In addition, this same model can be used to evaluate the stress-strain relationship of the constant-rate-of-strain loading tests. |
