中文摘要 | 本文主要目的在於找出一性能優越之螺槳,以作為往後快艇新系列螺槳之母型螺 槳。 因此本文建立一有別於以往採用 NACAa=0.8 之理論設計方法,以設計所謂之新翼形螺 槳,再以實驗探討斜軸狀況下,不同空蝕係數時之螺槳性能,比較新翼形螺槳與 Newton-Rader 螺槳,並同時量測螺槳因軸傾斜而產生之垂向力及側向力,以便計算出螺槳 於斜軸狀況下對船之有效推力及真正效率。實驗中發現在斜軸角度為 8 度時、J 值於螺槳 設計點附近,垂向力大小約為推力之 40%∼50%。此外,斜軸下之螺槳效率明顯較平軸低約 6% 左右。並由實驗顯示,不論於何種空蝕係數之下,於斜軸 8 度時,新翼形螺槳之效率均 較 Newton-Rader 螺槳為高。 |
英文摘要 | This paper is aimed at designing a propeller, which has an outstanding performance, to serve as a parent model of a new series propeller for high speed patrol boats. Thus, a new design procedure and philisophy is estabilished to design the so-called new-section propeller and this procedure is different from the method for using of conventional NACA a=0.8 section. Hereafter the performance of the new-section prepeller is measured under different cavitation numbers at the inclined shaft condition and compare with that of Newton-Rader propeller. In order to calculate the effective thrust and the real efficiency for the craft, both the horizontal and vertical forces generated by the propeller at the inclined shaft condition are measured. When the inclined shaft angle is 8 degrees and the advance coefficient is near the prepeller design point, the measured vertical force is about 40%-50% of the shaft thrust. And, the efficiency of the propeller at 8-degree shaft inclination is significantly less than that of the propeller with horizonal shaft. The experiment also shows that the efficience of the New-Section propeller is greater than that of the Newton-Rader propeller at inclined shaft condition regardless cavitation numbers. |
