英文摘要 | Various back-calculation programs are based upon elastostatic theory as their forward core, even though the most commonly used testing devices are dynamic by nature. This paper introduces a frequency-domain back-calculation program in which dynamic Green flexibility functions are adopted as its forward core and a nonlinear least-squares technique is implemented for matching the measured and calculated deflections. The main feature of this program BKGREEN is that it can lead to satisfactory convergence of layer moduli even when the number of receivers is less than the number of layers to be determined. Therefore it overcomes the limitation on the maximum allowable number of layers in most static back-calculation programs. The results suggest that it is better to keep the back-calculation problem as an over-determined problem and not to use frequencies too close together in order to avoid the equation dependence. With the same number of input data for back-calculation, the use of "more receivers but with less number of frequencies" information structure will improve convergence. |
