中文摘要 | 從過去十多年來,資訊資源管理( Information Resource Management, IRM ) 相關理論與文獻相繼提出,產生各種對資訊資源管理的不同觀點看法,各學者對於資訊資源 管理的定義與範圍都有著不一樣的解釋,而業界也始終缺乏一套資訊資源管理的標準可依循 。因此,先前研究透過產業界的實證調查,確認了資訊資源管理的範圍,並建立適用於各產 業的資訊資源管理多元模式。然而,企業資訊部門管理處於不同的成長階段,其管理的特徵 、內容與方式皆不盡相同。因此,資訊部門管理越趨向成熟期,是否在資訊資源管理的實施 上也更趨完善?是一個值得深入探討的問題。 經由分析結果發現不同的資訊資源管理模式在 Nolan 的成長階段有著很大的差異。 在資訊 資源管理多元模式認定排名上,除了資源管理在各階段均保持排名第一位外,其餘之管理模 式則會因成長階段的特性差異,而在排名上有著明顯的起伏。而在資訊資源管理多元模式實 施排名上,資源管理、技術管理及人員行為管理則保持在排名前三位,跨部門功能性管理、 分配管理及策略管理則保持在排名的後三位。 |
英文摘要 | During the past decades, strides in information technology have set the pace for tremendous growth in new information resources in a variety of business settings. The related theories and researches on information resource management (IRM) have been an important theme scattered across many separate studies. Inspect of these studies show that there is no theoretically based empirical research on the IRM from a systematic perspective. Therefore, at an increase rate, the call for information systems (IS) managers to make decision about the commitment for their information resources to meet a rapidly changing and intensely competitively environments become loud. The main purposes of this study were twofold. First, it heeded the call for synthesizing research in this area by applying Nolan's growth stages to inspect a model that proposes multidimensional conceptual framework and gave some suggestions for IS community to reshift or rebalance on the practice of identifying and implementing in an attempt to worthwhile explore the gap from identification to implementation on IRM and pursue the shaping of IRM. The results indicated that resource management, in the identification of IRM, was ranked first in every stage of growth, and the ranking of the remaining dimension of management were frustrate with the change of stage. However, resources management, technology management, human behavior management were ranked top three and inter-functional management, distributed management, strategic management were ranked low three, respectively, during the implementation of IRM. |
