中文摘要 | 文化是人類生活的表現,人類生活於社會中, 其思想、行為都在文化中逐漸孕育 與成長。教育是一種人與人或環境的互動,既然人生活於文化中,其教育的各種教材、內容 、方法等等,毫無疑問皆與當地文化息息相關。幼兒教育是一切教育的基石,其課程會被當 地文化所影響。吾人深信在社會或社區裡,某些知識和價值必會教育給我們的孩子,使得我 們的孩子能在文化中滋潤與發展,以便適應其文化生活圈,進而創造文化。本文即是在探討 臺灣地區,有些文化元素是如何附著於幼兒教育的課程中,而在幼兒教育的方法、活動、及 目標上也與臺灣的文化有密切的關係。最後,亦討論了多元文化的教育是如何地在臺灣逐漸 展開。 |
英文摘要 | Taiwan's culture is connected to ancient Chinese culture. The Chinese culture was mainly derived from Confucius. However, recently, because of the contact with Western culture, the culture in Taiwan has changed. School are not separated from the society. Society is the organization of human beings. Each society has its lifestyle and other characteristics that make up its culture. Education is the interaction between people and the society. Thus, culture is really a very crucial element in education. It is always embedded in curriculum. Thus, it is not surprising that the school curriculum must reflect the culture. This paper discusses some cultural elements which embedded in the early childhood education curriculum in Taiwan. Following that, the relationship between Taiwanese culture and the goals, activities, and methods of teaching in the early childhood classroom will be explained. Finally, the multicultural perspective which might influence that curriculum will also be explored. |
