英文摘要 | Autonomy of human body is related to someone who could make his/her own decisions free of undue persuasion or coercion from government or third party to his/her body and spirit unless reasonable emergency or necessary statements. The developing biotech bring our world a whole new life style, but no one knows which destination it will reach. In this article, the author try to realize the cooperation and conflicts between new medical biotechnology and personal body autonomy. There are five parts in this article. Part I peer historical review how to perform and illustrate the autonomy of human body? what is the practical regulations? Part II will discuss surrogate mothers and unmarried persons who try to use artificial reproduction technologies should be regulated or take non-restriction policy? Part Ill transfers to another question about new medical biotech "Gene Therapy." Somatic cell therapy had been sustained a safety qualification, on the contrary, germ-line therapy will make high risks to our offsprings, so it is still forbidden. Part IV analysis from compulsory treatment in general medical care to compel genetic screening, how to balancing the interesting about one's body privacy against social welfare reason. Part V conclude all opinions of the author. It is possible to use surrogate mothers under strong commercial purposes, we should try to avoid to use this method to reproduce our offsprings. Gene therapy should be used under very safety standard, the most arguable question is "Should we open the germ-line therapy to patients? " The recently answer is no, but still have some strong voice against this point of view. Finally, not only due to insufficient financial reasons but genetic screening also bring personal damages in many ways, we should not compel everyone to take genetic tests. |
